Medical Mission in Iligan: Faith in Action

The Missionary Families of Christ USA recently completed a powerful 3-Day Medical Mission in Iligan, serving over a thousand patients with compassion, dedication, and Christ-centered care. What began as an act of service became a living testimony of God’s abundant providence.

As Fr. Zaldy Almenteros Jr. reminded the team, “This is not our mission—it is God’s mission,” boldly encouraging everyone not to be afraid, for when we step forward in faith, God always provides. We extend our deepest gratitude to every volunteer and to all who generously offered their time, talent, and treasure—your sacrifice made this mission possible. Each day’s powerful recap was beautifully documented by the No One In Need Movement, capturing not just the numbers served but the stories of hope, gratitude, and transformed lives. Medical missions are not only about physical healing; they are a bold expression of evangelization—bringing people closer to God and proclaiming His love through action. In every patient served, Christ was encountered, and through every act of mercy, His light shone brightly.
