Christian Life Seminar in Alamogordo, New Mexico
by Sister Cherry A. George
As I reflect back on my journey last March 22, 2025 for a mission to help facilitate a Christian Life Seminar in Alamagordo, New Mexico, I was filled with an overwhelming sense of joy and gratitude. The experience I have encountered while bringing people closer to God have transformed not only the lives of those we served but also my own.

I have been serving in MFC for sometime, given different task at the comfort of our area in Las Vegas. However, when I was asked if I would join the mission for a CLS at Alamagordo , New Mexico by our fulltime workers, Bro Mark and Sis Leah Ramos, I felt the calling to engage in this sacred mission. I knew it would be a journey of faith, dedication and love. Each day I am presented opportunities here in Las Vegas to share Jesus, to witness the incredible power of faith, and to see how God works in the hearts of individuals. Whether on community gatherings ( Teaching and CLS) , fellowship or Outreach programs.. I have witnessed the profound impact that Gods love can have in people’s lives.

One of the most heartwarming aspects of my mission in New Mexico, has been the relationships I built on that special day, the CLS. Each participant had their own story, struggles and dreams and it has been a privilege to walk and pray alongside with them. I have witnessed the participants find faith in the uncertainty of being away from their families, the joy in their sadness after listening to all the strong powerful speakers as tears were flowing during the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. The moment where the participants embraces the message of God’s love or experiences a breakthrough in their life is truly priceless. They remind me of why I embarked on this mission in the first place. Every smile, every heartfelt conversation and every act of kindness reaffirms my belief in the goodness of God and His desire for all of us to know Him. As I continue this mission with MFC, I am reminded that bringing people to God is not just about words but about actions. It’s about living out the love of Christ in tangible ways. Though I am flawed, I strive to be a reflection of His love, compassion and mercy in all that I do.
I would like to give my gratitude to our area servant Bro Ed and Sis Odie Faune for planting the seeds in New Mexico, the harvest is growing thank you for your relentless passion to serve.

And of course, to my companions in Alamagordo, Bro Mark and Sis Leah, you both opened my eyes on both your willingness to serve, saying No to service was not an option, thank you so much, I am truly humbled. And to our MFC community for the prayers and support. I look forward to sharing more experiences as I continue to serve and bring others to the beautiful light of Jesus Christ.
